Music and microbrews have proven to be a winning combination for Greene County, with two of the area’s premier tourism attractions being awarded top prizes for their offerings during the past few months.

Barnes & Nobel Celebrates New York’s 400th!
From August through October, all Hudson Valley Barnes & Noble stores from Saratoga Springs to Yonkers will feature “Focus on New York” displays with newly released titles celebrating Hudson Valley history, traditions and regional beauty.”

Greene County Residents Urged to Take a ‘Staycation’
(CATSKILL, New York) – For Greene County residents who want to save money this summer but not forgo a vacation altogether, there is good news in a new summer “staycation” promotion being spearheaded by Greene County’s Think BiG, Buy-In-Greene initiative. Eight local resorts are now offering a 30% discount or more to Greene County residents .
